SB 105 — Simplify Domestic Partner Income Tax Filing

Resolves issues relating to the CA Domestic Partner law regarding income tax filing requirements.
SB 518 — Juvenile Justice Safety And Protection Act
Status: APPROVED By Governor Schwarzenegger
Protects LGBT youth in the juvenile justice system.
SB 559 — Property Taxation Exclusion
Status: APPROVED By Governor Schwarzenegger
Ensures that all same-sex couples registered with the state benefit from a 2006 law about property reassessments upon the death of a partner.
SB 777 — Education Non-discrimination
Status: APPROVED By Governor Schwarzenegger
Creates uniform non-discrimination standards within the state education code so students, teachers, and school administrators clearly understand the protections that are provided within CA’s publicly-funded schools and programs.
SJR 6 — Repeal DADT Resolution
Resolution urges the Congress and President to repeal the military’s DADT policy. This resolution did not go to the Governor for approval.
